AB-Con’s advanced termite control treatment will take a single day, or less, with very little upset to your daily routine. Methods vary with each house, depending on the type of foundation or basement, construction materials, number and type of porches, patios, chimneys, etc. By digging narrow trenches along walls and drilling through horizontal surfaces and into voids, materials can be applied where they will kill termites within your home and block the colonies re-entry.
The following are pictures of a termite treatment inside a garage.
First the area is cleared of stored items and debris. We measure out 4 to 6 inches from the wall and marks are made on the drill surface 10 to 12 inches apart.
Then drilling is done.
The debris from the drilling is swept away and removed.
Then the chemical (Termidor WG) is applied carefully to each drill hole. Termidor is a non-repellent termiticide that creates an invisible barrier between your home and the termites. Non-repellent products are not easily detected by termites, so the insects do not know to avoid the treated area. Forager termites are the first to confront these non-repellent products, which are then shared with the rest of the colony — effectively controlling the colony’s members.
Finally, all the drill holes are re-filled with cement and the area is given a final clean up and restored.
Your Termite Treatment is warranted for one year, allowing for re-treatment at no additional cost if a further infestation is found. At your anniversary date, you may join AB-Con’s many satisfied customers with our renewal warranty program, consisting of yearly re-inspections.
Your warranty is also transferable to any homeowner should your home be sold during the warranty period.
